This is it. The holidays. The time we’ve all been waiting for. We’ve all been here before, just a year ago. We came together, as a team, trained hard all through the holidays. How many of u have forgotten the gruelling hours we spent rowing, day after day? How many of u can forget the way we pushed ourselves during trainings? How many of u can forget how our team bonded and grew stronger through this holiday? How many of u can forget how we aimed towards our goal at that time, the IVP?
U know what else i don’t think any of us forgot? The way it felt when we stood together with all our medals, knowing that we did this together, and that our hard work, our sweat, blood and tears had paid off.
Its that time of the year again.
Lets make the best of it, shall we?
This is the training schedule for the holidays:
Monday – Gym training (6 -9 pm) COMPULSORY Tuesday – Sea training; two sessions (9.15 – 12 am) and (3.30 – 6 pm) ONE TRAINING COMPULSORY Wednesday – Sea training (9.15 – 12 am) COMPULSORY - AND - Gym training (6-9 pm) OPTIONAL Thursday - Sea training; two sessions (9.15 – 12 am) and (3.30 – 6 pm) ONE TRAINING COMPULSORY Friday – Rest day OPTIONAL Saturday – Sea training (9.15 – 1pm) COMPULSORY Sunday – Sea training (9.15 – 1pm) OPTIONAL

The Final Team Gathering
Hey team, some of us were suggesting to have either a Sakura lunch/dinner buffet on the sat, 30th Aug as our one last team gathering with the two HANDSOME HUNKS- Damien and Jonathan before they leave for their service for our nation! So PLEASE VOTE whether your guys prefer LUNCH or DINNER and also WHO can make it. Leave your NAME and your choice of DINING TIME before Tues as I need to make a reservation on before hand.
ALSO, coach is inviting all of us over to his house for a team gathering before the two hunks leave.. so hope all of you will be able to make it. The date will be confirmed again, it should be at the first week of Sept. What do you guys think? Please comment on the comment box for your say. THANKS!
Take Note: Is only for SENIORS.

Guys, this is a video about our team in PO-LITE 2007 and some other events. I think it's rather motivating and it really made me think about how our team has grown. I know all of us are having examinations now, but I hope after exams all of us will train hard together as one and achieve our common goal:)
Meanwhile, enjoy the video and study hard for your exams team.

ATTENTION ALL FELLOW KAYAKERS!!!
The long awaited gathering has arrived! So far, I have checked various buffet restaurants around town and................................. I found a really cheap yet delicious buffet restaurant --- YUKI YAKI. I've been there once and i feel that the environment's really cosy for large gatherings. Actually we are given a choice of either having steamboat or non-steamboat for this buffet.
Foodwise, they have variety of buffet dishes like for example, sushi, fruits, ice cream, mini cakes, seoulgarden-style meat choices(already marinated), western pasta, salads , cakes, ETC! As for steamboat soup, there's 2 soup base choices: Chicken soup & Tom Yam Soup.
Not forgetting their very own unique ice cream DIY on their "cold plate", making ice cream from it's liquid form to the solid form.
Price is around 20 bucks per head. For those who's unsure of how much to bring with you, at least 25 bucks would be sufficient.
These are the details i've collected so far. I hope all of you guys are satisfied with it and come to an agreement ASAP. :) If all's okay with this idea, please tag on the comment board so that i have an idea of who IS turning up and who ISN'T. Please do it as soon as possible. Thanks!
If there's any doubts or matters that needs to be clarified with, call me!
P.S: I've called up YUKI YAKI and they mentioned that they don't take reservations for FRIDAY, SATURDAY and SUNDAY due to the large crowds. So, they suggest that we should all turn up before 5pm(if we wanna have dinner buffet). Dinner buffet is from 6pm-10.30pm.
Warmest Regards, Joanna
